Flyrob We had the same problem with the white perch... it seemed like the smaller fish 19-20 inch were missing the hook, larger 25+ were hooked in the lip. It’s sure frustrating to loose them right at the boat. Did you try hooking the WPs at the tail? 23 hours 15 minutes ago

backdoc Thanks. Mudpuppy, there were several builders on the island in the 70-80's including Hancock, Reeves, Winbrough and a few other lesser know builders. Jester Crafts are considered to be the best of them. Pretty solid for almost 40 years old. 5 days ago

Since the river has been quiet, I'm gonna try a run out to pooles island on Wednesday and hopefully find some fish!

mer47 Same here Harry as you know we only had 1 keeper and lost 2 good fish on Thursday on Bomber lures. The guys using WP, and trolling blood worms did better. Water was 1 ft at best 2 weeks ago

Are any flatheads being caught below the dam now? Usually a group of guys fish for them before rockfish opens- any number of them being caught now?... Show more
